G S.R. 269(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of the section 1 of the Copra Cess Act, 1979 (4 of 1979), the Central Govern- ment hereby appoints the first day of April, 1979 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
