CENTRAL EXCISES
G.SR. 274(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules 1944, the Centra] Government hereby makes the following further amendments to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 313/77-Ceniral Excises, dated the 8th November, 1977, namely :—
In the Table annexed to the said notification—
(1) against serial No. 7, in column (3), for the words and brackets
"Chlorine (liquid or gas)", the letters, brackets and words
"(i) Oxygen and
(ii) Acetylene (whether in dissolved condition or not)" shall be substi- tuted ;
(2) after serial No. 6 and entries relating thereto, the following serial No. and entries shall be inserted, namely •—
