No. DRAWBACK/PN-31/79.—Under rulc 4 of the Customs and Central Excite Duties Drawback Rules, 1971 (Notification No. 52/F. No. 602/2/70-DBK published in the Gazette of India—Extraordinary, dated the 25th August, 1971), The Central Government hereby makes the follow- ing amendments in the Table published in the Public Notice No. DRAWBACK/PN-1 dated the 15th October, 1971 as amended from time to time : —

In the Column 'Rate of drawback' against item (A) of Sub-Serial 2203 for item (i), the following shall be substi- tuted, namely : —

"Rs. 199.60 (Rupees one hundred ninety nine and Paise sixty only) per one hundred square metres of the sur- face area of such sea chests, plus'"

This Public Notice shall come into force on the 3rd day

of April, 1979.

No.lDRAWBACK/PN-32/79— Under rule 4 of the Customs and^Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 1971 (Notification No. 52/F.No. 602/2/70-DBK published in the Gazette of I n d i a- Extraordinary, dated the 25th August, 1971), the Central Go- vernment hereby makes the following amendments in the Table published in the Public Notice No. DRAWBACK/PN-1 dated the 15th October, 1971 as amended from time to time :—

For Sub-Serial No. 2205 and the entries relating thereto,

the following shall be substituted, namely :—

Rs. 242.50 (Rupees two hundred forty two and Paise fifty only) per 100 square metres of such panels.

EXPLANATION :— (i) The rate under Sub-Serial 2205 is for 4mm thickness of plywood panels. The rate shall bo proportionately enhanced or reduced for other thick- nesses.

(ii) The drawback rate per 100 square metres of glue line prescribed in Sub- Serial No. 2204 shall be allowed in addition to the rates prescribed under Sub-Serial No. 2205.

This Public Notice shall come into force on the 3rd day of

April, 1979.

No. 602/2/70-DBK published in the Gazette of India—Extra-ordinary, dated the 25th August, 1971), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Table published in the Public Notice No., DRAWRACKl l'N-1 dated the 15th October, 1971 as amended from time to time :—

The rates of drawback mentioned against sub-Serial No.

2902 shall be valid upto 9-5-1979.

PUBLIC NOTICE

No. DRAWBA.CK/PN-M/79.—Under rule 4 of the Cus- toms and Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 1971 (Noti- fication No. 52/F. No. 602/2/70-DBK published in the Gazette of India—Extra-ordinary, dated the 25th August, 1971). The Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Table published in the Public Notice No. DRAWBACK/PN-1 dated the 15th October, 1971 as amend- ed from time to time :—-

1. In the Column 'Rate of Drawback' against item (ii) of Sub-Serial No. 3605, the following shall be substituted, namely :—

"Rs. 968 (Rupees Nine hundred and sixty eight only)

per tonne".

11. In the Column 'Rate of drawback' against item (ii) Clause (b) of Sub-Serial No. 3609, the following shall be substituted, namely :—

"Rs. 549 (Rupees five hundred and forty nine only)

per tonne."

12. In the Column 'Rate of drawback' against item (ii) Clause (b) of Sub-Serial Nc. 3611, the following shall be substituted, namely :—

"Rs. 661 (Rupees six hundred and sixty one only) per

tonne."

13. In the Column 'Rate of drawback¹ against item (ii) of Sub-Serial No. 3613, the following shall be substituted, namely :—

"Rs. 505 (Rupees five hundred and five only) per
