NOTIFICATION
CENTRAL EXCISES
G.S.R. 275(E),—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944 the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry-of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 71/78-Central •Excises, dated the 1st March, 1978, namely :—
In the Table annexed to the said notification—
(1) for the entry in the column 3 against serial No. 24, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :—
"Glass and Glassware (excluding electrical insulators or electrical in- sulating fittings or parts of such insuators or insulating fittings)";
(2) for the entry in column 3 against serial No. 25, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :—
"Chinawwe and Porcelainware, all sorts (excluding electrical insulators or electrical insulating fittings or parts of such insulators or in- suring fittings)".
2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 1979.
