अधिसूचना
सा. का. मि. 306 (अ ) .- भारतीय पत्तन अधिनियम, 1908 (1908 कां 15 ) की धारा 5 खूवारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारत सरकार, नौवहन और परिवहन मंत्रालय (परिवहन पक्ष ) की अधिसूचना सं. सा . का नि. सं. 90 ( अ) दिनांक पहली मार्च, 1979 में निम्नलिखित और संशोधन करती हैं, अर्थात :-
उक्त अधिसूचना में. अन्त में निम्नलिखित नोट अन्तःस्थापित किया जाए, अर्थात
"नोट. इस अधिसूचना वारा घोषित सूतीकोरिन पस्तन की टीक सीमा में आने

वाले क्षेत्र को जोन "क" और जोन " स " में बांटा जाएगा , जैसा की नीचे बताया गया है
(1 ) जोन "क " में वह सम्पूर्ण क्षेत्र होगा जौ जोन "ख " में न हो ,
(2 ) जोन "ख " में निम्नलिखित सीमाओं में पड़ने वाला क्षेत्र होगा, अर्थात:- उत्तर में : गीमा स्तम्भ से पूर्व की और अरासदी के उत्तर को अक्षांश 08 ° 50'00 " उत्तर 78 ° 17'00" पूर्व के समानान्तर खिची रेखा ।
पूर्व में : 08 ° 50′00 ″ उत्तर अक्षांश -देशान्तर 78 ° 17'00 " से 08 °45′00 ″ उत्तर अक्षांश देशान्तर 78° 16'00 " पूर्व तक खिची रंखा ।
दक्षिण में : (क ) तुतीकोरिन बन्दरगाह क्षेत्र के उत्तरी सीमा स्तम्भ टी.एव.पी. 26 और टी. एच. पी. 27 को जोड़ने वाली रेखा ।
(ख) वहां से उच्व जल चिन्ह के साथ -साथ उत्तरी पनकट दीवार के बाहरी सिर तक ।
(ग ) वहां से उसी पनकट के बाहरी सिरे के साथ-साथ अक्षांश 8 ° 45′00 ″ उत्तर के समानान्तर खींची गई रेखा तक और वहां से उस स्थान तक जहां देशान्तर 70 ° 16′00 ″ पूर्व रेखा काटती हैं ।
पश्चिम में: उक्त पत्तन की उत्तर और दक्षिणी सीमाओं के बीच समुद्री किनारे का वह भाग जो साधारण ज्वार भार्ट के समय उच्च जल चिन्द्र के 45.7 मी. (50 गज ) के अन्दर पड़ता है । "

NOTIFICATION
G.S.R. 306(E) --- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Indian Ports Act , 1908 ( 15 of 1908 ) , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport ( Transport Wing ) No. G.S.R. 90 ( E ) , dated the 1st March , 1979 , namely :-
In the said notification , the following Note shall be inserted at the end , namely :-
"Note The areas covered by the precise extent of the limits of the Port of Tuticorin declared by this notification shall be divided into Zone 'A' and Zone ' B ' as mentioned below :-
( 1 ) Zone 'A' shall comprise all the area other than area in Zone ' B' .
( ii ) Zone 'B ' shall comprise the area falling within the following limits , namely :-
On the North : A line drawn cast from the boundary pillar erected to the north of Arasadi to a position along the parallel of Latitude 08 ° 50'00 " North 78 ° 17'00 " East .

On the East : A line drawn from a position 08 ° 50'60 " North Latitude Longitude 78 ° 17'00 " East to a position 08 ° 45'00 " North Latitude Longitude 78 ° 16'00 " East .
On the South ( a) Line adjoining the Northern Boundary Pillars THP 26 and THP 27 of the Tuticorin Harbour Estate .
(b) Thence alongwith the high water mark upto the outer edge of the North Breakwater .
( c) Thence along the outer edge of the same Breakwater to a line drawn on the parallel of Latitude 8 ° 45'00 " North to a posi- tion whence the Longitude 78 ° 16'00 " East intercepts .
On the West : So much of the sea between the Northern and Southern limits of the said port as lies within 45.7 metres (50 yeards ) of high water marks ordinary spring tides . '
