सा का. नि . 231 ( अ ) खाद्य अपमिश्रण निवारण नियम , 1955 में और संशोधन करने के लिए कतिपय नियमों का प्रारूप, खाद्य अमिश्रण निवारण अधिनियम , 1954 (1954 का 37 ) की धारा 23 की उपधारा ( 1 ) द्वारा यथा अपेक्षित रूप रो भारत सरकार के स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय ( स्वास्थ्य विभाग ) की अधि- सूचना संख्या सा. का. नि. 1194 , तारीख19 सितम्बर, 1978 के अधीन भारत के राजपत्र , भाग 2 , खंड 3 , उपखंड ( 1 ) , तारीख 30 सितम्बर, 1978 को पृष्ठ 2244 पर प्रकाशित किया गया था जिसमें तारीख 30 अक्तूबर , 1978 तक उन सभी व्यक्तियों से आपत्ति या सुझाव मांगे गए थे जिनके उससे प्रभावित होने की संभावना भी , F

उक्त राजपत्र सारीरा 30 सितम्बर, 1978 को जनता को उपलब्ध कस दिया गया था। केन्द्री। सरकार ने उक्त प्रारूप नियमों की बाबत जनता से प्राप्त आपत्वियों या सुझावों पर विचार कर लिया है ।
अप्तः अब , वन्द्रीय सरकार , उक्त अधिनियम की धारा 23 की उपधारा ( 1 ) ह्वारा प्रवृत्त श क्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, और फेन्द्रीय खाद्य मानक समिति से परामर्श फरके, खाद्य अमिश्रण निवाण नियम, 1955 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बणात्ती ५४ , अर्थात्:-

1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का नाम खाड्य अपमिश्रण निवारण (द्वितीय संशोधन ) नियम , 1979 है ।
( 2 ) थे राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रवृत होंगे ।
2. खाश्य अमिश्रण निवारण नियम , 1955 में, इन नियमों के परिशिष्ट 'क' में, प्ररूप 1 हे पैरा ( 2 ) में " प्राप्ति शीर्ष 24 जन स्वास्थ्य " शब्दों और अंकों के स्थान पर निम्नर्लाि व्रत श द और अंक रखे जाएंगे . अर्थात्

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi , the 6th April , 1979
G.S.R. 231 (E) .- Whereas certain draft rules further to amend the Pro- vention of Food Adulteration Rules , 1955 , were published , as required by sub- section ( 1 of section 23 of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act , 1954 ( 3 of 1954) at page 2244 of the Gazette of India , Part II , Section 3 sub -section ( i) dated the 30th September , 1978 under the notification of the Governt ent o India in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Depart- ment of Heal: 1 ) No. G.S.R. 1194, dated the 19th September , 1978 , inviting objectios 3 or iggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby by the 30th October , 1978 ,
And where is the said Gazette was made available to the public on the 30th Se embes , 1978 ,
And where as the objections or suggestions received from the public on the said draft ules have been considered by the Central Government ,
Nov there fore , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of secti n 23 of the said Act , the Central Government after consultation with th Centa al Corumittee for Food Standards , hereby makes the following rules fo ther o amend the Prevention of Food Adulteration Rules , 1955. namely :-

RULES
1. ( 1 ) Those rules may be called the Prevention of Food Adulteration ( Second Amendment ) Rules , 1979 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Prevention of Food Adulteration Rules , 1955 in Appendix A to these rules in Form 1 , in parapara ( 2 ) , for the words and figures " Receipt Head- xxiv Public Health" , the following words and figures shall be substituted, namely :-
"Receipt Head- 082-Public Health , Sanitation and Water Supply-Fees and Fines etc."
