CENTRAL EXCISES

GAR. 26S(E)—-In exercise of the power* conferred b> sub-rula (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification pf ik/s Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, (Department of Revenue) No. 95/79-Central Excises, dated ttw 1st March, 1979, namely :—

la the said notification,—

(s) In the proviso, clause (ii) shall be omitted and clause (ill) shall be

re-numbered as clause (ii> ;

(b) in the Table, for the entry in column (3) against Serial No. 8, the

following entry shall be substituted, name'y :—

"Steel billets, wires and wire rods".
