CENTRAL EXCISES
G.S.R. 248(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amend- ments to the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking No 128/77-Centrat Excises, dated the 18th June, 1977 namely :
In the said notification, for the words "bagasse jute stalks, cereal straw or waste paper" the words and brackets bagasse, jute stalks, cereal straw, elephant grass (Imperata Cylinderica). mesta (Kenaf) or waste paper" shall be substi- tuted.
