New Delhi, the 22nd April, 1979
S.O. 219.—Whereas election has been held in pursuance of the noti- fication No. S. O. 143 (H), dated the 16th March, 1979. issued under section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), for the pur- pose of filling the sents of three members of the Council of States elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Kerala who retired on the 21st April, 1979 on the expiration of their term of office ;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the said Act, the names of the members elected by the elected members of the legislative Assemblv of the State of Kerala arc hereby notified for general information :—
