Subject: Export" Policy of Sandnlwood in Log Sawn or billets form during
1979-80.
File No. 6/2S/79/El.—Attention is invited to the Exports (Control) Amend- ment Order No. E(C)O,1977/AM(110) dated 27-4-79 read with Annexure II of enclosure to the Public Notice No. 30-ETC(PN) /79 dated 30-3-79 on the above subject.
2. On a review of the position it has been decided that export of Sandal wood in log sawn & bjl'ets form during the current year ending 31st March, 1980, will be allowed within a limited celling, by the port licensing authorities.
3. Export of Sandalwood in chips, flakes and powder form will be allowed
freely tinder OGL. 3.
4. Accordingly paragraph 5 of Annexure 11 to the Policy Stateent enclosed with the Public Notice No. 30-ETCYPN)/79 dated 30th March, 1979, will be substituted by the following :—
''5. Export of Sandalwood in log sawn and billets form will be allowed within a limited ceiling on first come, first served basis, Sandalwood in the form of chips, flakes and powder will be allowed freely under OGL. 3",
