NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, tjie 5th May, 1979
G S R. 286(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) oi section 19 of the Compulsory Deposit Scheme (Income-tax Payers) Act, 1974 (38 of 1974), the Central Government hereby makes the following schema tc amend the Compulsory Deposit (Income-tax Payers) Scheme, 1974, namely :—
1. This scheme may be called the Compulsory Deposit (Income-tax Payers)
(Amendment) Scheme, 1979.
2. For paragraph. 6 of the Compulsory Deposit (Income-tax Payers)
Scheme, 1974, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely;—
"6. Transfer of accounts.—A depositor may apply fur the transfer of hit account from any deposit office referred to in clause
(a) where tho account is opened in an office of the Reserve Bank oi India, to any office or branch of any bank referred to in sub- clause (i), sub-clause (li) or sub-clause (Jii) of the said clause (e);
