S.O. 269(E).~As the Central Government is of the opinion that for facilitating the construction of Metro Railway at Calcutta, it is necessary to make such alteration to the building us described in the schedule below which is within a distance not exceeding 10 metres from the Metro alignment, therefore, in exercise of the power conferred under section 21(l)(a), it is hereby directed that owners/persons having control over such building as described in the schedule below, do demolish or make such alterations as detailed in the schedule to such building within three months from dato of publication of this notification.

S.O. 282(E).—As -the Central Government is of the opinion that for facilitating the construction of Metro Railway at Calcutta.it is necessary to make such alteration to the building as described in the schedule below which is within a distance not exceeding 10 metres from the Metro alignment, therefore, in exercise of the power conferred under section 21(I)(a), it is hereby directed that owners/persons having control over such building as described in the schedule below, do demolish or make such alterations as detailed in the schedule to such building within tlircc months from date of publication of this notification.

Attention of the owners/persons having control over the building is also drawn to section 22 of the Metro Railway (Construction of Works') Act 1978, in this connection. Non-compliance to (he direction as made here-under shall invite application of section 36 of the Act along with provisions as contained in Rule 16 of the Rules framed under the Metro Railway (Construction of Works') Act J978
