CENTRAL EXCISES

G.S.R. 336 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) and in super- session of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No, 154/79-Central Excises. tinted the 31st March, 1979, the Central Government hereby fixes a tariff value of two hundred and five rupees per quintal for sugar falling under sub-item (1) of Item No. 1 of the Piist Schedule to the said Act and chargeable with duty ad-valorcm.
