8.0. 354(E).—In exercise of the powors conferred by sub-section (3) of sec- tion 1 of the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints the 24th day of June, 1979 as the date on which the provisions of Chapter IV (except sections 44 and 45 which have already been brought inio force) and Chapters V and VI [except sub-section (1) of section 76 and sectiona 77, 78, 79 nnd Kl which have uheady been brought into force] of tbe said Act shall come into force iji the following arens in the State of Bihar namely ;—
