NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd June, 1979
CENTRAL EXCISES
G.S.R. 394(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by
bub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the
Central Government hereby makes the following further
amendment in the notification of the Government of India
in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and In-
surance) No. 24/75-Centra] Excises dated the 1st March,
1975, namely :—
In the said notification, in (he first proviso, after the words
"each such percentage point increase", the following words
shall be inserted, namely :—
"and where the percentage point increase is in fraction,
the increase shall, in respect of such fraction, be
calculated accordingly".

In the suid notification, after the words "each additional
percentage point inciease", the following words ahull be
inseited, namely :—
•'and where the percentage point increase is in fraction,
the increase shall, in respect of such fraction, be
calculated accordingly".
