G.S.R. 428(E).-—In exercise of (he powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 2."! oT the Customs Act, 1962 152 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that U in necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makei the following nmendmenl in th* notification of the Government of India ii the Ministry of Finance, Department uf Revenue No. 2-Customs, duLed thi 1st January, 1979, namely :—

In parajjiaph 2 of the said notification, J'or the figures, letters and words "30th day of June, 1979", the ficmes, Ictlcis and wordy "31st day of March, 19K0" shall be jubsiiUited.
