ORDER NO. 27/79

OPEN GENERAL LICENCE NO. 16/79
S.O. 392(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Import and Export ^Control) Act, 1947 (18 of 1947), the Central Government gives general permission for import by integrated steel plants, mini steel plants and electric; arc furnaces of (a) stopper heads and nozzles and (b) copper mould; (for continuous billet casting), from any country except Union of South Africa/ South West Africa and Rhodesia, subject to the following conditions :—
(i) The goods so imported have not been produced of manufactured in
the Union of South Africa/South West Africa and Rhodesia,
(ii) Such goods are shipped on through consignment to India on m
before 31st Match, 1980, without any grace period, whatsoever,
(iii) The imports shall be subject to the 'Actual User' condition, an>l
i,iv) Nothing in this licence shall affect the application to the goods, in question, of any other prohibition or regulation, affecting the import thereof, in force at the time when juch gooiK arc imported.
