No. F. 12(4)/77-H&C.—Whereas, in puiMiance of the provisions of Section 2 read with Section 9 of [he Salary and Allowances of Leaders of Opposition in Parliamentary Act, 1KJ77 (33 of 1977) the Speaker of the Home of (he Peuple has decided that Shri C. M. Stephen, the Leader of the Opposition in the House of (he People, has ceased to bo Leader of the Opposition in the House of the People wilh effect from the 10th drty of July, 1979;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the said Act, the Central Government heieby notifies lhat Shri C. M. Stephen has ceased to be the Leader of (he OppoMtion in the House of the People with effect from the 10th day of July, 197y for the purposes of the said Act.
