SO. 403(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 4 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976J, the Central Government, after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and State Bank of India, by which Ellaquai Dehati Bank has been sponsored, specifies Srinagar in the district of Srinagar as the place where Ella- quai Dehati Bank shall have its head office.

S.O. 402(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by -sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, being re- quested so to do by State Bank of India, establishes), with effect from the 16th July, 1979, a Regional Rural Bank in the State of Jammu and Kashmir under filename of Eilaquai Dehati Bank, which shall operate within the local limits of the districts of Srinagar and Anantnag in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
