CENTRAL EXCISES
G.S.ft. 442(E> Tn exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of (he Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 89/79-Conlral Excises, dated the 1st March, 1979, namely:—•
In the said notification, after Explanation IV, the following Explanation
ahull be inserted, namely :—
"Explanation V.—For the purpose of computing the value of clearances under this notification, the clearances of the said goods, which are exempted from the whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon by any other notification issued under sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the aforesaid Rules and for the time being in force, shall not be taken into account."
