INCOME-TAX

S.O. 416(E),—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 295 of the Income-tax Act, 196i (43 of 1961), the Ccntml Bcurl of Direcr THXCS hereby m;ik"s the; (ollowig rules further to nniend th^ Income-tax Rules. 1962, namely :—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Income-tax (Fourth. Amendment)

Rules, 1979.

(2) They shiJl c^rne into force at once.

2. En the inuHr.-tax Rules, 1962,—

(a) in rule 50, after clause (2), the following CIHUSC shall be inserted,

namely :—

"(2A) Final Examination of the Insftiite of Company Secretaries of

rnih'n, New Delhi." :

(b) in sub-rule (1> of rule 54 and in rule 55, after the word, brackets and injures "clause (vi)", the words, braJvdi fij; . s an; L-iter "or clause fvi^)" shall be inserted. [No. 2944/F.
