No. DCH/12/(ll)/7S-Coop.—The Government of India have decided to constitute an Evaluation Committee to evaluate the progress of the Member Education Programme for Hand- loom Cooperatives being implemented by National Cooperative Union of India. The Composition of the Committee will be as under :—

The following are terms of reference for the Committee :
(1) To assess tho performance of the Member—Education Units for Handloom Weavers Cooperatives run by the NCUI with Central assistance from the Union Depart- ment of Industrial Development, and
(ii) To assess the potentialities of expansion oil the program- me for Member-Education of handloom weavers co- operatives.
The Committee should submit its report to the Development
Commissioner for Handlooms latest by 31st August, 1979.
