CENTRAL EXCISES

G.S.R. 463(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Central Excises and Salt AcL, 1944 (1 of 1944) and in supersession of the ratification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 199/79-Ccntral Excises, date ' the 1st June, 1979, tlie Central Government hereby fixes a tariff value of two hundred and iifteen rupees per quintal for sugar falling under sub-item fl) of Item No. 1 of the First Schedule to the iaid Act and chargeable with duty ad valorem,
