CENTRAL EXCISES
G.S-R. 470(E).~~In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Additional Duties of Excise (Goods of Special Importance) Act, 1957 (58 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 36/79-Central Excises, dated 1st March, 1979, namely :—
In the said notification, in the proviso,—
(a) in clause (v), the word "and" occurring at the end shall be omitted;
(b) after clause (v), the following Explanation shall be Inserted,
