G.S.R. 471CE).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the AH India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with sub-rule (1) and the first proviso to sub-rule (2) of rule 4 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government in consultation with the Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby makes the following regulations fuither to amend tho Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadro Strength) Re- gulation, 1955, namely :—•
1. (1) These Regulations may be called the [ndian Administrative Service
(Fixation of Cadre Strength) Sixth Amendment Regulations, 1979.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official
Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadro Strength) Regulations, 1955 for the heading 'Uttar Pradesh' and the entries occuring thereunder, Lhe following shall be substituted, namely :—
(i) in entry 5 for the figures '88' the figures '94'* shall be substituted.
(ii) for the figures '390' and '497' the figures '396' and '503' shall be
substituted.
