CENTRAL EXCISES
G-S.R. 473(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby exempts polypropylene tapes falling under Item No. 18 of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), from the -whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon, if used in the manufac- ture of polypropylene woven fabrics falling under Item No, 22 of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944, and intended for making sacks,
(a) within the factory of production or
(b) in another factory, provided the procedure set out in Chapter X of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, is followed.

G.S.R. 474(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby exempts polypropylene monofila- -ment yarn of 60 deniers and above falling under Item No. 18 of the First Schedule lo the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), from the whole of the duty of excise levi- able thereon.
