In the said notification, the words "of capacity not ex-
ceeding one kilogram or one litre" shall be omitted.

GSR. 485(E).—In^exercis* of the powers conferred by subiUule (1) of rule 8 of th"yJCentral Excise Rules, 1944, the Centra] Government hereby" -"xempt5 steel castings, falline under Ttem No. 26AA of the^Fjrst Schedule to the Central Excises and Sail Act, 1944 (Fief 1944), from so much of the duty of excise leviable thereon ;is in excess of one hund- red rupees per metric tonnc^ subject to the condition that such steel castings are manufactured :—-
(a) with the aid of alumino-lhermic process ; and
