In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 25 rifthc Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is neceujary in tbc public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Minis- try of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 66-Customs, dated 15th March, 1979, namely :-^
In the soid notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words "31nt August, 1979" the figures, letters and word "31st March, 1930" shall be substituted.
