S.R.O. 8(E).—In wttrcise of the powers conferred by sub-section (i) of section 2 of the Armed Forces (Emergency Duties) Act, 1947 [15 of (1947)], the Central Government hereby declares every service connected with the Yard engaged in the manufacture of frigates, security, safety, fircfighting, manning of power housed and sub-stations, manning of pumps for kasara basin/Drvdocks, fresh water supply and conservancy of M,/s. Mazagon Dock Limited, Bombay in the State of Maharashtra to be a service of vital importance to the community.
