S.RJO.' WjEf.—In exercise of ' the power* conferred by sub-section (i) of
section 2 of the Armed Forces (Emergency Duties) Act, 1947 [15 of (1947)], the
Central Government hereby declares every service connected with the Yard
engaged In the manufacture of frigates, security, safety, fifeftghilng, manning of
power houses and sub-stations, msumin* of pumps for kasara basin/Dry docks,
fresh water supply and conservancy of M/s. Mazagon Dock Limited, Bombay
in the State of Maharashtra to be a service of vital1 importance to the community.
