No. F. 12(4)/77-R&C—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Salary and Allowances of Leaders of Opposition in Parliament Act, 1977 (33 of 1977), the Central Government hereby notifies that, consequent on the disso'ution of the House of the People on 22nd August, 1979, Shri Jagjivan Ram has censed to be the Leader of the Opposition in the House of the People with effect from 23rd day of August, 1979.
