New Delhi, the 27th August, 1979
S.O. 488(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (Amendment) Act, 1968 (56 of 1968), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of September, 1979, as the date on which section 7 of the said Act shall come into force in the State of Gujarat.
