New Delhi, the 29th August, 1979

ORDER

G.S.R 519 (E):—Whereas it appears to the Central Government that it is necessary and expedient so to do for securing the equit- able distribution of the essential commodity, namely, fertiliser.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) the Cantral Government hereby directs that the manufacturers specified in the schedule given below :

1. Shall sell to the registered fertilisers dealers in the States, Union Territories and the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 of the said schedule fertilisers of the description and quantity mentioned therein during the period 1st August, 1979 to 31st January, 1980 at the rate of one-sixth of the quantity specified in the schedule in a month and,

2. Shall submit to the Central Government and the State Governments or Union Territories and Commodity Boards pertaining to the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 of the said schedule a statement by 10th day of every month containing therein:—

(i) The quantity of fertilisers despatched to various dealers in the States, Union Territories and the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 with the dates of despatch during previous month; and

(ii) The quantity of fertilisers which the said manufacturer propose to despatch to the various dealers in the State, Union Territories and Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 in the succeeding month,
