Subject.-—Rate of Exchange between the Indian Rupeo and the Rouble Tor application in (be case of Cicdit Agreements and Commercial tran- sactions.

No. IPC/Cenl. 150/75/Vol. II.—Jn accoidance wilh the Protocol conclud- ed between the Government of India and the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) on November 25, 1978 and consequent on changes, in the value of the Indian Rupees in lerms of a specified basket of currencies, an exchange rate of Rs. 9.9974 to 1 Rouble sha'l, with effect from August 11, 1979, apply to the settlement of all existing and further cicdit Agreements and commercial transactions between the two countries which have been or mny be designated in Roubles.
2, The mannci of application of the new rule of exchange to various ciedlt and commercial transactions between India and the USSR will remain the same as indicated in Public Notice No. 3-TTC(PN)/79- dated January 5, 1979.
