S.O. 494 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sec- tion 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby make the following further amendment in the Order of the Gov- ernment of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. SO. 840(E)/l8A/IDRA/77 dated the 15th December, 1977, namely :—
In the said Order under the heading "Members", for serial number 5 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely :—-
"5. Shri C. V. S. Mani, Joint Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Fertilizers New Delhi-110001."

Industrial Development (De- partmen! of Industrial Development) No, S.O. 455fE)/18FB/ IDRA/73, dated the 31st August, 1973, hereinafter referred to as the said Order, the Centra) Government in exercise of the powers conferred bv sub-seclion (1) of Section 18FB of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951) had declared that the operation of all or any of the contracts, assurances of properly, agreements, settlements, awards nr other instruments in force immediately before tho publication of the said odor in the oflfrcinl Gazette to which the Industrial Undertaking known as Messrs. Carter Pooler and Company Private Limited, Calcutta, is a party or which may be applicable to the said industrial undertaking shall remain suspended for a period of one year and all rights^ privileges, obligations and liabilities accruing or arising thereunder ben fore the said date shall remain suspended for a period of one year;
And whereas the duration of the said Order was extended
upto and inclusive of the 30th August, 1979 ;
And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the duration of the said order should be extended for a further period upto and inclusive of the 23rd October, 1979;
Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1), read with sub-section (2) of Section 18 FB of the Industries (Development & Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby extends the duration of the said order for a further period upto and inclusive of * the 23rd October, 1979.
