सा. का. मि. 525(अ) अखिल भारतीय सेवा अधिनियम , 1951 (1951 का 61) की धारा (3) की उप - धारा ( 1) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए , केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा (वेतन) नियम 1954 में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है , अर्थात
1. (1) इन नियमों का नाम भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा (वेतन) नवां संशोजन नियम , 1979 हैं ।

(2) ये सरकारी राजपत्र में इनके प्रकाशित होने के तारीख से प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. भारतीय प्रशासन सेवा (वेतन) नियम , 1954 की अनुसूची 3 में , " ग के पद , जिनका वेतन काल वेतन - मान से अधिक है या जिनके साथ केन्द्रीय मरकार के अधीन जब पद मेषा के सदस्यों धारित किए गए हों , काल वेतन- माम में वेतन के अतिरिक्त विशेष वेतन है ' शीर्षक के अन्तर्गत-
" गृह मंत्रालय से संबंधित प्रविष्टियों में स्तम्भ 2 और 3 में विद्यमान मुख्य आयुक्त अण्डमान-रुपए 2500-125/ 2-2750 प्रविष्टियों के स्थान पर क्रमशः निम्नलिखित प्रविष्टियों रखी जाएंगी , अर्थात्:-

New Delhi , the 1st September , 1979
G.S.R. 525 ( E ) -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section ( 1 ) of Section 3 of the All India Services Act , 1951 ( 61 of 1951 ) , the Central Govern- ment hereby makes the fo'lowing rules further to amend the Indian Adminis- trative Service , ( Pay ) Rules , 1954 , namely : --
1. (1 ) These rules may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Nineth Amendment Rules , 1979 .
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. In the Schedule III of the Indian Administrative Service (Pay) Rules , 1954 , under the heading "C- Posts carrying pay above the time scale or special pay 1143

in addition to pay in the time scale under the Central Government when held by members of the service"-
in the entries relating to " Ministry of Home Affairs" , for the existing entries in columns 2 and 3 , namely :-
