G-S.R.52?(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Passports

Act, 1967 (15 of 1967), the Central GovernmMt h :r^by mikos thj following rulos further to amend the Passports Rules, 1967, namely: —

1. (1) These rules may be called tho Passports (Eleventh Amendment) Rulos,

1979

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official

Gazette.

2. In Schedule I to the Passports Rules, 1967, after serial No. 19, tho following

serial No. and the entries relating thereto shall be added, namely:—

(a) Passport Officer, Jullundur (Pass-
