ORDERS.O. 517(E)/18FB/IDRA/79.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministiy of Industry (De- partment of Industrial Development) No. S.O 661(E), dated the 7th September, 1977, (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the Centra] Government in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18FB of the Industries Development and Regulation Act, 1951 (65 of 1951). had declared that the operation of all contracts, assurance of property agreements settlement awards, stan- (887) 590 GI/79

888 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PA*T H—SBC. 3(ii)] And, whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the duration of the said Order should be extended for a further period of one year upto and inclusive of the 6th September, 1980 ;

ding orders or other instruments in force immediately before the date of issue of the said Order (other than those relating to secured liabilities to banks and financial institutions) to which the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Union Jute Company Limited, Calcutta, or the Company owning such industrial undertaking is a party or which may be applicable tpfjuch industrial undertaking or Company shall remain sus- iMpded for a period of one year, and that all the rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities accruing or arising there- under before the staid date shall remain suspended for the "aid period ;

And, whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial De- velopment) No. S.O. 544(E)/18FB/TDRA/78, dated the 6th September, 1978, the duration of the said Order was exten- ded for a further period of one year upto and inclusive of the 6th September, 1979 ;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I), read with sub-section (2), of section 18FB of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (6^ of 1951), the Central Government hereby extends the duration of the said Order upto and inclusive of the 6th September, 1980.
