NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th September, 1979
S.O. 542(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of article 77 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, namely :—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Government of India (Allocation of Business) One hundred and thirty-seventh Amendment) Rules, 1979.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publi-
cation in the Official Gazette.
(a) under the heading "Ministry of Home Affairs (Grih Mantralaya)", after entry 101, the following entry shall be inserted, namely :—
"101A. The Special Courts Act, 1979.";
(b) under the heading "Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (fCarmik aur Prashasnik Sudhar Vibhag)", after entry 20(e), the following entry shall be inserted, namely :—
'(20f)Making of declarations, in relation to offences, under sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Special Courts Acts, 1979, and designation of Special Courts under section 6 of that Act and other re- lated matters'.
Note—The prosecution of cases in the Special Courts will continue to remain the responsibility of the respective Ministries or Departments of the Gov- ernment of India or the State Governments or Union Territories Administrations, as the case may be.";
(c) under the beading "(Ministry of Labour (Shram Mantralaya)", under the sub-heading "Part II—Con- current subjects" for entry 8, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :—
''8. Employment and unemployment except rural em- ployment ijnd unemployment.";
(d) under the heading ''Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Vidhi, Nyaya Aur Kampani Kar- ya Mantralaya)", under the sub-heading "C. Depart- ment of Justice (Nyaya Vibhag)", after, entry 4, the following entry shall be inserted, namely :—
"4A. Constitution and organisation of Special Courts under the Special Courts Act, 1979, and other related matters.".
