संख्या एफ० 2/18 / 79-एम० एस ० ( 1) -राष्ट्रपति ने एतद्वारा डायघर ( सावधि जमा ) नियमावली, 1970 में और मशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाए है , अर्थात्
1 ( 1 ) ये नियम डाकघर ( सावधि जमा ) सशोधन नियम , 1979 कहे जाएगे ।
( 2 ) ये नियम पहली भक्तूबर, 1979 से लागू होगे ।
2 डाकघर ( सावधि जमा ) नियमावली, 1970 के नियम 11 मे साणी "क' और सारणी " ख " के स्थान पर निम्नलिखित सारणिया रखी जाएगी , अर्थात्
सारणी " क" ( पहली मार्च, 1978 से पहले जमा कराई गई रकमो के लिए )

New Delhi , the 28th September , 1979 .
No. F. 2/18 /79-NS (I) . The President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Post Office (Time Deposits) Rules , 1970 , namely :-
1. (1 ) These rules may be called the Post Office (Time Deposits ) Amendment Rules , 1979 .
(2) They shall come into force on the Ist day of October 1979.
2. In the Post Office (Time Deposits ) Rules , 1970 in rule 11 , for Tables-'A' and ' B ', the following Tables shall be substituted , namely :-

2. डाकघर बचत बैंक ( बहने वाली मावधि जमा ) नियमावली, 1959 ( इसमें इसके पश्चात् उक्त नियमों के रूप में उल्लिखित के नियम ४ च में जहा कहीं भी " 23 जुलाई, 1974 " शब्द व अंक आएं उनके स्थान पर निम्नलिखित रखा जाए, अर्थात्:-
"23 जुलाई, 1974 के बाद परन्तु पहली अक्तूबर , 1979 मे पहले । "
3 उक्त नियमावली के नियम ९च के पश्चात् निम्नलिखिन नया नियम जोड दिया जाए , अर्थात्:--
" 8 छ पहली अक्तूबर, 1979 को अथवा इसके बाद खोले गए बातों पर वापस अदा की जाने वाली रकमें:--

10 रुपए के मूल्यवर्ग के 10 वर्ष के खाने में अवधि समाप्त होने पर व्याज समेत 1693.20 रुपए की रकम श्रदा की जाएमी । 5 रुपए के गुणजो के मूल्य वर्गों के खातों पर श्रनुपातिक रकमें श्रदा की जाएंगी । पूरी अर्वाध की समाप्ति से पहले खाते बन्द कर दिए जाने की स्थिति मे, ब्याज समेत ऐमी रकमें जो सरकार अधिसूचित करेगी अवधि की ममाप्ति पर अदा की जाएंगी । "

No. F.2/18/ 79 -NS (II) .-The President hereby ma kes the follow- ing rules further to amend the Post Office Savings Bank ( Cumula- tive Time Deposits ) Rules , 1959, published with the notification ofthe Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Depart- ment of Economic Affairs) No. F. 3 (10 )-NS/ 58 dated the 19th December, 1958 , namely :-

Note : For deposits made on or after the Ist October 1979, interest will be payable annually at the rates shown in Table ' C , calculated at half-ycarly rest.
संख्या एफ० 2 ( 18) / 79-एम० एस० ( 11) -राष्ट्रपति ने एतद् द्वारा डाकघर बचत बैंक ( बढ़ने वाली सावधि जमा ) नियमावली , 1959 जो भारत सरकार, वित्त मंत्रालय , आर्थिक कार्य विभाग की विनांक 19 दिसम्बर, 1958 की अधिसूचना संख्या एफ ० 3 ( 10) -एन० एम०/ 58 के द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई थी, में और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाए है अर्थात्:
1. ( 1) इन नियमों को डाकघर बचत बैंक ( बढ़ने वाली सावधि जमा ) संशोधन नियमावली, 1979 कहा जाएगा ।
( 2) नियम पहनी अक्तूबर, 1959 से लागू होगे ।
1. (1) These rules may be called the Post Office Savings Bank (Cumulative Time Deposits ) Amendment Rules , 1979 .
(2) They shall come into force on the 1st day of Octobor , 1979.
2. In rule 8F of the Post Office Savings Bank (Cumulative Time Deposits ) Rules , 1959 (hereinafter refered to as the said rules ) , for the figures , letters and word " 23rd July 1974 " , the following shall be substituted, namely :-
"23rd July 1974 , but before the 1st October , 1979 .
3. After rule 8 - F of the said rules , the following rule shall be inserted , namely:-
"8-G : Amounts repayable on accounts opened on or after the 1st October , 1979 :--
The amounts payable inclusive of interest at the end of the term in a 10-Year account of Rs . 10 denomination shallbe Rs . 1693.20. Proportionate amounts shall be payable on accounts in denominations of multiples of Rs . 5. In the event of the accounts being discontinued before the expiry of the full term , such amounts ' inclusive of interest, as may be notified by the Government , shall be payable at the end of the term" .
4. In Table I- H and Table II - C annexed to the said rules , for the words and figures " on or after 23-7-1974 " , the words and figures " on or after 23-7-1974 but before 1-10-1979 " shall be substituted.

संख्याएफ० 2/18/ 79-एन० एस० ( III) :-राष्ट्रपति ने एतद्- द्वारा डाकघर ( श्रावर्ती अमा ) नियमावली, 1970 जो भारत सरकार , वित्त मत्रालय ( आर्थिक कार्य विभाग ) की दिनांक 28 फरवरी , 1970 की अधिसूचना संख्या एफ० 3 ( 8) एन ० एस ०/ 79 द्वारा प्रकाशित की गई थी, में श्रौर संणोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाए हैं, अर्थात्:-
1. ( 1) इन नियमों को अकषर ( श्रावर्ती जमा ) संशोधन नियम, 1979 कहा जाएगा ।
(2) ये नियम पहली अक्तूबर , 1979 में लागू होंगे ।
2. डाक्थर ( आवर्ती जमा नियमावली, 1970 में ( 1) नियम 8की धारा ( ख ) में "नियम 9 के अन्तर्गत " शब्दों और अकों के पश्चात् "अथवा नियम 9 क जैसी स्थित्ति हो" शब्द व अंक जोड़ दिए जाएं ; (ii) नियम 9 के बाद निम्नलिखित नियम जाड़ दिया जाएः-
" क- पहली अक्तूबर , 1979 को अथवा इसके बाद खोले गए खानों पर वापस अदा की जाने वाली रकमें नियम 9 में उल्लिखित किसी भी बात के होते हुए भी, पहली अक्तूबर , 1979 अथवा इस तारीख के बाद खोले गए 5 रुपए के मूल्य वर्ग के 5 वर्ष के खाते में व्याज महित 389.05 रुपए की रकम अदा की जाएगी और 5 रुपए के गुणजां के मूल्य वर्गों के खातों में श्रानुपातिक रकमें अदा की जाएंगी । पूरी अवधि की ममाप्ति से पहले खाने बन्द कर दिए जाने की स्थिति में , व्याज समेत ऐसी रकमें , जो सरकार अधिसूचित करेगी, अवधि की समाप्ति पर अदा की जाएंगी ।

The President heroby makes the following rules further to amend the Post Office (Recurring Deposits) Rules , 1970 , published with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance ( Department of Economic Affairs ) No. F. 3 (8 ) -NS /70 dated the 28th Februarу , 1970, namely :-
1. ( 1) These rules may be called the Post Office (Recurring Deposits) Amendment Rules , 1979 .
(2) They shall come into force on the Ist day of October 1979.
2. In the Post Office ( Recurring Deposits) Rules , 1970-( i ) in rule 8, in clause ( b ) , after the words and figure " under rule 9 " , the words , figure and letter " or rule 9A , as the case may be , " shall be inserted ; (ii ) after rule 9 , the following rule shall be inserted, namely :-
"9A. Amounts repayable on accounts opened on or after 1stOctober 1979 Notwithstanding anything contained in rule 9 , the amount payable inclusive of interest at the end of five years on an account of Rs . 5 denomination opend on or after Ist October 1979 shall be Rs . 389.05 and propor- tionate amounts shall be payable on accounts in denomina- tions of multiples of Rs . 5. In respect of such accounts discountinued before the expiry of the full term, the amount payable at the end of the term inclusive of interest shall be such as may be notified by the Government . "
