27.30 of sub-section (3) of.section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962, (52 of 1962>and In supersession of the noti6cation of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 145-Customs [G.S.R, 429(E)], dated (he 1st July, 1979, the Central Government hereby determines that, for the purposes of section 14 of the said Act, the rate of exchange for conversion of each of the foreign currency specified in column (2) of the Schedule below into Indian currency or vice versa, shall be the rate mentioned against it in the corresponding entry in column (3) thereof.
