EXPORT TRADE CONTROL
Subject—Export Policy of Rosewood in Log and Sawn sizes during 1979-80.
P. No. 6/68/79-EI.—Attention is invited to the Exports (Control) Amend- ment Order No. E(C)O, 1977/AM(136) dated the 10th October, 1979, published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, on the above subject.
2. On a review of the position, it has been decided to allow the export of Rosewood in log and sawn form, during the current licensing period, within a limited ceiling, by the port licensing authorities, on first-come, first-served basis.
3. Accordingly, in Annexure II on page 29 of the Export Policy Book 1979-80
the following shall be inserted after paragraph 5 as paragraph 5A.
"5A—Export of Rosewood in log and sawn form will be allowed within
a limited ceiling."
