NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 11th October, 1979
S.O. 579(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 29B of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby declares that the Notification S.O. 219(E)/ IDRA/29B/74/5 dated 28th March, 1974 stall cease to be operative with immediate effect.
2. In pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 29B of the said Act, the Central Government hereby specifies a period of three months from the date of pub- lication of this notification after the expiry of which no owner of any industrial undertaking which was exempted from the operaton of clause (d) of sub- section (1) of section 13 of the said Act shall cany on the business of such undertaking except under and in accordance with a hcenc" issued in this behalf by the Central Government and in the case of State Government except under and in accordance with the previous permissioa of the Central Govern- ment.
