NOTIFICATION
G.9.R. 582(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-seciion (1) of section 3 of the All lnOi.i Seivices Act 1951 (61 of 1951), read with sub-rale (1) of rule & of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954, (he Ccntnil Government/- ufler consultution with tho Union Public Service Commission ar>d the Ciovernment of Irre State concerned hereby makes the following i emulations further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, namely :—
1. (1) These regulations may he called the Indian Administrative Service
(Appoinfmtnt by Promotion) Second Amendment Regulations, 1979.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official
Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the Indian Administrative Service Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955, in the entries relating to "Tamil Nadu", in Column 3, for tho entry "Second Member, Board of Revenue", the following entry shall be substituted, namely :—-
"Second Secretary to Government",
