NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th October, 1979
G.S.R. 585(E).—The following draft of the Motor Vehicles (National Per- mits) Amendment Rules, 1979, which the Central Government proposes to make is hereby published, as required by sub-Section (1) of Section 133 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939 (4 of 1939). for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby ; and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration on or after the expiiy of a period of forty-five days from the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette. Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft rules, before the expiry of the said period of forty- five days, will be considered by the Central Government.
DRAFT RULES
1. Short title and commencement/—(1) These Rules may be called the Motor
Vehicles (National Permits) Amendment Rules, 1979.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the
Official Gazette.
2. Rule 5 of the Motor Vehicles (National Permits) Rules, 1975 shall stand
deleted.
