G.S.R. 598(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) the Central Government, being satisfied that it is neces- sary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the 784 GI/79 (1289)

notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of. Finance, Department of Revenue specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended, in the manner specified In the corresponding entry in Column (3) of the said Table.

[No. 208/F.No. 357/16/79-TRU] G.S.R. 599(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurence) No. 28/75- Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1975, namely :—

In the Table annexed to the said notification, for S. No. 1 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) including the proviso, the following S. No. and entries shall be substituted namely :—
