विवरण में दिए गए " 3.2" घांकड़े को ठीक करके " 3.25" पढ़ा जाएगा ।
3. 1979-80 की भायात-नीति के अध्याय में बताया गया है कि सभी कमप्यूटर सिस्टम में मूल्य का विचार किए बिना आयात के लिए इलैक्ट्रा निक्स विभाग की पूर्ण निकासी की भाषश्यकता है । सभी वास्तविक उपयोक्ताओं को इलैट्रानिक्स विभाग के माध्यम से आवेदन करना होता है, जो कम्पयूटर सिस्टम के आायात के लिए प्रायोजक प्राधिकारी हैं । उस विभाग द्वारा दी गई निकासी के प्राधार पर, ऐसे मामलों को निम्नलिखित प्रकार से मिपटाया जाएगा 5 के पैरा 21 ( 1 )
(क) वास्तविक उपयोक्ताओ से प्राप्त भावेदन -पत्तों को मायात- निर्यात क्रियाविधि हैंड बुक, 1979-80 के पैरा 152 में श्री गई त्रियाविधि के अनुसार निपटाया जाएगा ।
(ख) वास्तविक उपयोक्ता ( गैर-प्रौद्योगिक ) अर्थात् अनुसंधाम मौर विकास यूनिट धावि, जो झायात-भीति 1979-80 के पैरा 46 के अन्तर्गत भाते हैं, यषि अन्यथा रूप से अनुमति हुई तो उन्हे खुले सामान्य लाइसेंस के अन्तर्गत केवल इलैक्ट्रानिकी विभाग से पहले ही प्राप्त प्रायात निकासी के आधार पर कमप्यूटर सिस्टम और उनके पूजें प्रायात करने की मनुमति दी आएगी । 1
वास्तविक उपभोक्ताभों ( प्रौद्योगिक ) को प्रायात-निर्यात क्रियाविधि पुस्तक , 1979-80 मे निर्धारित पूंजीगत माल के प्रपत्र में प्रायात लाइसेंस के लिए आवेदन करना चाहिए । भन्य वास्तविक उपयोक्ता इलैक्ट्रानिकी विभाग , नई दिल्ली से प्राप्त प्रपत्न में आवेदन कर सकते है ।
4. झायात नीति, 1979-80 के अध्याय 20 मे पैरा 199 तक में प्रायात मीति का स्पष्टीकरण/भाषान्तर प्राप्त करने के लिए क्रियाविधियां निर्धारित की गई हैं । यह निश्चय किया गया है कि यदि स्पष्टीकरणो/ भाषान्तर के लिए द्यावेदन 15 नवम्बर , 1979 से बाद में प्राप्त होगे तो सामान्यतः सम्बद्ध प्राधिकारियी द्वारा स्वीकार नहीं किए जाएगे । 15 नवम्बर, 1979 से बाद में प्राप्स किए गए ऐसे आवेदनों पर केवल उन्ही मामलों में विचार किया जाएगा जिनमें ऐसे विलम्ब से 196 से वेवन करने के लिए सम्बन्ध पार्टियां औचित्यपूर्ण कारण बताएं ।

New Delhi , the 5th November , 1979
Subject :-Import Policy for April 1979-March 1980 .
Attention is invited to the import policy for April 1979--- March 1980 published under the Department of Commerce Public Notice No. 25 : ITC (PN)/ 77, dated the 3rd May, 1979 , as amended.
2. The following ainendments / correction shall be made at the appropriate places indicated against each : --

15 Sub -para 74(3 ) The following shall be added at the end :- "In respect of electronics items, the indigenous clea- rance should be obtained from the Department of Electronics , New Delhi " .
2. 15 Sub -para 74( 5) The following shall be added at the end :- "Where import of any electro- nics items including fac- simile equipment for a c.i.f. value of Rs . 5.00 lakhs or more and marine electronics equipment and parts irrespective of the value, is involved , the licen- cewill be granted only after clearance is given by the Department of Electro- nics" .

3. Para 21 ( 1) in Chapter 5 of the Import Policy, 1979-80 provides that all computer systems , irrespective of value , require prior import clearance of the Department of Electronics . All Actual Users have to apply through the Department of Electro- nics which is the sponsoring authority for the import of compu- tor systems . Based on the clearance given by that Department, such cases will be dealt with as under :
(a) Applicationsfrom Actual Users will be dealt with in accordance with the procedure laid down in para 152 of the Hand Book of Import - Export Procedures , 1979-80.
(b) Actual Users (Non - Industrial ) , namely R & D units etc. covered by para 46 of the import policy, 1979-80 will be allowed to import computer systems and their spares under Open General Licence, if otherwise admis- sible , only on the basis of the prior import clearance obtained by them from the Department of Electronics .

Actual Users (Industrial) should apply for Import Licence in the Capital Goods from prescribed in the Hand Book of Import . Export Procedures , 1979-80 . Other Actual Users may apply in the format obtainable from the Department of Electronics , Now Delhi .
be entertained by the authorities concerned if received after 15th November , 1979. Such requests received after 15th November , 1979 will be entertained only in cases where there are justifying reasons put forth by the parties concerned for making the request at such late stage .
