NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, tho 6th November, 1979 CUSTOMS
G.S.R. 613(E) In exercise of tho powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 36-Customs. dated the 15th February, 1979, namely :—
In the said notification :—
(a) in condition (i), after the words "Ministry of Industry", the words or the Director of Industries of the State concerned, aa tho
. case may be", shall be inserted ;
(b) after condition (ii), tho following condition shall be inserted,
namely :~
"(iii) the importer shall, within such period as the Assistant Collec- tor of Customs may specify1 in this behalf, produce a certifi- cate from the- Director General of Technical Development of the Ministry of Industry or the Director of Industries of tho State concerned, as the case may bo, to the effect that such parts have been used for the aforesaid purpose."
