CUSTOMS
G.S.R. 623(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 23 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. U7-Cus- toms [G.S.R. Mo. 318(E)] dated th 9th June. 1978, namely:—
In the Schedule to the said notification,—
(a) serial No. 1 shall be renumbered as serial No. 1A, and before serial No. 1A as so renumbered, the following Serial No. and entries shall be inserted, namely:—
1 2 __ 3__ " 1. Ivory, unmanufactured 05. 01/15";
(b) after serial No. 23 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial No. and entries shall be inserted, namely:
1 2 ~~ 3
"23A, Spun Silk Yarn and 50.03/08";
Noil Yarn.
(c) in serial No. 29, in column 2, the following shall be
Inserted at the end, namely :— "PVC Leather Cloth.";
(d) after serial No. 32 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial No. and entries shall be inserted, namely:
