G.S.R. 632(E).—The following draft of certain rules further to amend the Coal Mines Labour Welfare Fund Rules, 1949, which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (iv) of sub-section (2) of section 10 of the Coal Mines Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1947 (32 of 1947), is published as required by sub-section (1) of the said section fur the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will bo taken into consideration on or after the expiry of forty-five days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette,
Any objections or suggestions which may be received rrom any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the period so specified will be taken into consideration by ttre Central Government.
1. The.se rules may be called the Coal Mines Labour Wel-
fare Fund (Amendment) Rules, 1979,
2. In sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the Coal Mines Labour Wel"
fare Fund Rules, 1949,—
(i) in clause (a), in sub-clause (i), for the words and brackets "Ministry of Labour and Employment (Department of Labour and Employment)", the words/ and brackets "Ministry of Steel, Mine* and Coal (Department of Coal)" shall' be substituted ;
(ii) in clause (b), for the words "Hon'ble Minister for Labour and Employment", the words "Hon'ble Minister for Steel, Mines and Coal" shall be substi- tuted.
